Why Can't I Lose Weight!

Losing weight has never been easy for me. It’s like a constant battle of defeating myself. Sometimes, I want to slap myself to wake up. I’ve done any kinds of approach such as diets, pills and exercise. But, it’s still the same. Nothing happens! It’s like a waste of time. I end up going back to my previous cycle. Yeah, I’m the one who is responsible for all of this. But, it’s hard. It’s hard to change the habits you used to be. It’s hard to keep up the exercise that makes you bored. It’s hard not to crave for all the food you love. Gosh! I don’t know what’s happening to me. I need to make a move or else I’ll suffer this consequences. Every time I look my body in the mirror, it makes me puke. I can’t even fit my clothes anymore. It’s bugging me so much. Why can’t I lose weight! I need to wake up. It’s me who has the problem. I need to fix this pretty soon. This is for the sake of my health. But, I’ll try my very best. I need to strictly regulate myself and establish a goal. A goal for a long lasting weight loss! I know I can make it.

My Christmas Wishlist!

Three days ago, we went to the big mall near our place. It’s only a window-shopping though. And, we eat in the Italian restaurants afterwards. The reason I ask hubby for window-shopping was to see if the diamond necklace that I like is still on sale. Luckily, it’s still on sale till December. LOL! It’s one of my Christmas wish list. Hopefully, my husband will purchase it for me. I really love the style and it’s cute. I’m pretty excited right now. Gosh! I can’t wait to wear this diamond necklace. I cook yema balls yesterday. It turns out good. I put peanut and slide it with sugar. Anyway, I’ll give a bit description to those who doesn’t know what’s yema balls yet. I missed my uniform!

I got this picture when I was browsing for documents. This photo was taken 3 years ago while I was about to leave to work. I already missed my work and uniform. Funny me! I was still a little bit slimmer with this picture. Hopefully, I’ll be like this in a couple of months. LOL! Well, I still recall the times where I work hard just to enter the service. The training is not easy for me. But, for 4 months of hardship, I was able to make it. I had my goal that I can enter the service for the sake of my family. I was assigned away from my family but I was able to handle it. Thankfully, my request for re-assignment that time was approved. I was living at Masbate for almost a year. I’m still very thankful that my boss and coworkers were very nice to me. It was really a great experience to work with them. I was able to adopt their styles, food and dialect. There was one incident that I was crying and shouting since I don’t want to climb up the tall building for rappelling. Our superior was joking at me about my enlistment in their city. If I still recall, there was even a time that he gave us a couple of chili pepper to chew. I almost fell that time. But, anyway, I did able to fight for all the trials and challenges. And, I’m missing it right now. Sigh! These pictures will always reminds me of all my struggles those times. I will cherish it for the rest of my life.

Christmas For Payatas

As a Filipino, I know how hard the situation living in the Payatas, Philippines. It’s notoriously known the world over as Smokey Mountain. Kids even in their younger years will pick newly arrived garbage from dumpsite just to sell what they’ve collected. They were force to climb the mountain each day, hoping to earn enough for the whole family. If I still recall, there was once an incident that the children were killed because the mountain of garbage was collapse. That was very alarming incident. I love bags!

I really love bags. I’m not really particular with branded bags but I would love to own one. Perhaps, I can purchase one if I have work but not over 300 dollars. It’s sounds ridiculous for me. So Sweet!

I was happy that my hubby brought me a sweet and sour chicken with rice tonight. I was even very full eating the whole food. Gosh! No wonder I never lose any weight because I can’t say no to food. LOL! Anyway, I’ve notice that my husband becomes so sweet these past few days. Almost every day, he brings food for me. My heart pumps for joy. He is so sweet. Last month, I recall he gave me 3 small sunflowers. He said he founds it in the street. I’m still very happy even though he never pays for it. What makes me even happier is that the flowers live for almost 3 weeks. I put it in the glass with water. I was shocked why it lives that long. I even tease him that he really loves me because the flowers live longer. How I wish he won't change. That’s all I pray to God. And, he knows how much I love him. He will always be my husband for the rest of my life.

My Long Lost Friend

I’m so glad that one of my friends contacted me after many months of no communication. I still recall when we’re still in the Philippines, we promise to become friends forever. But, I don’t know what happened why it stopped. Perhaps, I misunderstood her as a snob after marrying an American. I admit I act and think very negative against a person sometimes. But, I change a lot after I was married. I don’t know if I was the one that stop the communication or it was she who started. All I remember is that I feel a big change from her. But, anyway, that was a long time ago. And, I don’t want to think negative about her anymore. I know she’s nice person since we became friends for a long time. And, I want to get it back again. She’s been my help when I was down 3 years ago. I recall how much she cared for me those times. I was very thankful that moment when she never forsaken me. Hopefully, we could meet one of these days. The Flat Belly Diet

I guess most of you are already tired of my rants regarding my weight. If you’re a constant reader of this blog, you probably know that I was struggling of my weight since I arrived here in the US. Last month, I posted about after six diet that I’ve tried. But, as you can see, I was only disappointed since it doesn’t work for me. Pretty Diamond Necklace

I found this pretty necklace while browsing for diamond jewelry at Kmart website. Gosh! I feel in love with it. I’ve been dreaming of having a chocker necklace. How I wish I had enough money to buy this jewelry. Night Out!

Last Saturday, we went to the mall just to hang out and get some coffee. While walking around the mall, I found bunch of people rumbling for shoes. I asked hubby to wait outside since I’ll be looking for a boots inside the store. But, guess what I find? I found a high heel sandal instead. LOL! What makes me happy is that it’s very affordable. Too Early

Yesterday, I was shocked when my husband showed me the snow outside our house. I can’t believe that we had snow that early. If I can still recall, we got it after thanksgiving last year. I was very excited since that was my first time to see a snow. But, it was opposite to what I feel right now. I was really worried since I never take my road test yet. As what I’ve heard, you’ll be having a hard time driving when it is snowing. Gosh! I might able to endure the cold but not being stocked in the house for another 4 months. I might be crazy if it happens. LOL! I’m sorry if I rant again. Please forgive me! Yeah, I admit I made mistake. This could not have happen if I was practicing the first month I receive my driving permit. If I can only repeat the time, I would really do it. Well, it’s too late already. All I wish right now is strengths and confidence. Strengths that I will able to use in the times of trials and ordeals. Hopefully, God will answer my prayers. Sigh!

A dumb driver

I’ve mentioned in my previous post that I’m having a hard time managing my time for exercise. The scariest thing is that I don’t have any job. All I do was just sit in front of the computer waiting for opportunity, cleaning every week and do some cooking sometimes. Mostly, we just go to the restaurant. Yeah, I’m not kidding. I’m afraid to miss any opportunities online. I’m not even lucky to get good offers. But, I don’t want to waste anything as long as I earn a little bit. Too bad I really need money. LOL! That’s maybe the reason why I cannot find the time to exercise and I’m really worried about it. I don’t want to wake up one morning that I already weigh 300 lbs. Nope. Hopefully, it won’t happen or else I’ll be in big trouble. You probably asked why I’m not looking for job yet. Well, it pisses me off since I can’t master parallel parking until now. How can I pass my road test if I don’t even know how to parallel park. Yeah, I admit I’m really stupid and dumb with these parking stuffs. I’m not a teenager anymore not to understand simple instructions. I really don’t know what’s happening to me. I drive pretty well as what my husband told me. But, I can’t guarantee to pass my road test without parallel and reverse parking. And, my driver’s permit will expire pretty soon. I’m sure I will be taking another driver’s test. Sigh! It’s very hard to be dumb driver.

I was reading a newspaper today and I stumbled upon a very interesting story. It's all about a woman who lives over 100 years. According to what I read, Louisiana Hines was born in Luverne, Alabama on April 13, 1898. She is an active member of Hartford Memorial Baptist Church and is involved with several groups including Amvets, Auxiliary, NAACP and Redeemerette Chapter #54 Order of the Eastern Star Prince Hall Affiliation. She is an acclaimed speaker who has recited her poetry for many organized public events. Besides poetry, Hines is also an accomplished artist who paints, does wood carvings and even fashion design. No wonder she lives a long life since she’s a very active woman. Plus, she has a strong faith and very obedient child. I really salute her. I can’t believe how she manages her time towards hobbies and organization. I don’t even know how to manage my time while I’m at home, how much more if I’m working. Gosh! She will be the right model to all the women.

I never expect I could still grab task from PPP very late at night. The amount is not that big but I’m glad I got it.
