Happy New Year Everyone
I want to wish you all a Happy New Year. My day is great though I wasn’t able to celebrate it with my husband. Instead, my friend invited me to celebrate New Year with their family. It’s such a nice experience to know them. They are wonderful people. At least, I wasn’t alone celebrating New Year. In fact, I enjoyed being with them. We played ping-pong and dart. They welcome me as part of the family even though I’m only a friend. Anyway, I want to thank my friend Ritchelle and her husband John for inviting me. Guys, I really appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness. It’s great to be your friend. Once again, Happy New Year to everybody. I wish you more happiness, good health and success in all your ventures. Stay happy! :)

Autism Support Network
Having family members who have autism disorder is not an easy task to tackle. It involves a lot of challenges, patience and acceptance. I recall one instance about my friend who had an autistic sister. She never introduced me to her sister. I can’t blame her for behaving like that. I understand it. She might be afraid to tell me about it. Or, perhaps she doesn’t want to hear any negative reaction from me in which I know for sure that it’s not going to happen. I have respect for all mankind. But, I never bother to ask her anymore. I don’t want to hurt her feelings. How I wish I could show her the site I found today where she could be reminded that she’s not alone and she doesn’t have to worry anymore. Autism Support Network has recently launched its free online support community available at http://www.austismsupportnetwork.com/. It connects families and an individual touched by autism spectrum disorder with each other, provides support and insight, and acts as a resource guide for treatments, strategies and therapies. At this site, you are allowed to share information, chat with other members and share photos. So I encourage every one to visit the site and share what you have learned from this site. This may help them realize that having autistic family members is not that hard to accept. If interested, just visit the site for more information.
Top 5 New Year's Resolution
Since it’s almost the end of the month of December, I want to asked you what’s gonna be your New Year’s Resolution. I’m sure most of you wanted some changes in your lifestyles and even habits. Sounds very hard to change but we can make it if we’ve plan it ahead and have a determination to succeed in our goals. I have so much in mind right now that I want to share. Perhaps we have the same in common and we’ll help each other make it a successful one. So what do you think? Just leave a comment in my post.
Here’s my top 5:
1. Lose weight- I’ve gained so much weight and I promise the next year I’ll start eating healthy foods and exercise. My goal is to get the ideal weight I wanted. So I can wear my swimsuit for the next summer. Wish me luck!
2. Think positive- I’m pessimistic sometimes and I wanted to erase that behavior this New Year.
3. Stop Procrastinating- This is the bad habit I have when I got here. I promise I’ll do whatever things should be done in time. This is the reason why my driver’s permit expires. LOL!
4. Get a job- I need to pass the road test so I could find a job soon. I know I can make it with God’s guidance.
5. Save money- I promise I would not buy any jewelries anymore or nonsense things. Instead, I’ll save money for our future and help pay some bills.

Manage Your Debt Effectively
Having too much debt would probably have a big effect to your life. It will ruin your relationship with your family and work. You cannot concentrate well in your work if a debt collector keeps calling and even threatens you to jail. That really sucks! Not to mention, the people around the workplace who never trust you anymore. It will also affect your credit score. As we all know, a high credit score is essential in getting a lower interest rate. Like for example, you want to get a house and want to pay lower monthly mortgage payments. How can you get a lower interest rate if you have a bad credit? Of course, it’s a common sense. You will end up paying higher interest rates of credit cards and mortgage. And even worse, nobody would lend you money. However, there are still options for paying off your debt. If you are unable to pay all your bills, an IVA may offer you the opportunity to freeze interest payments, reduce debts and regain certainty in your financial future. As long as you are confident you can maintain the regular payment that is agreed in IVA could be the solution for you. So if you want to clear all your debts then you probably needed IVA right now. One of my favorite dessert!
Three days from now, we will be celebrating New Year’s Eve. Whew! Time is so fast. It’s like we have just celebrated New Year’s Eve yesterday. Gosh! Hopefully, the economy will get better soon. Anyway, my husband’s boss invited us for a cocktail party this coming January 1st. They are such a nice couple. I wish they would have a profitable business next year so my husband will get a lot of work, too. LOL! I probably bake some cassava cake for them. I’m sure they would love the Filipino style cassava cake that I'm going to make. I’m pretty excited right now. I really want to thank them for being so nice to us. In fact, we receive a gift card from them a couple days ago. They even gave us Christmas greeting card. Tomorrow, I’ll start buying all the ingredients at the Filipino store. And, perhaps bake some cassava cake for us as well. It’s been a couple of months that I haven’t eaten cassava cake. I'm already imagining eating cassava cake right now. Hehehe! No wonder I never lose weight. I can’t resist sweet desserts. But, I promise I’ll stop eating sweets next year. Wink* That would be my New Year's Resolution.
