Brain Damaging Habits

One of my friends emailed me the other day. It’s very informative email. That’s why I want to share this email to all of you guys. Maybe, this will help us change our bad habits. It’s all about brain damaging habits. I’ve been doing this all my life. So I think it would be better for me to cut back from it little by little. Perhaps, it would save my life and the lives of others. If you want, you can share it to your friends too for them to be aware.
Here's the 10 brain damaging habits:
1. No Breakfast- People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level. This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.
2. Overeating- It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.
3. Smoking- It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.
4. High Sugar consumption- Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.
5. Air Pollution- The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.
6. Sleep Deprivation- Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.
7. Head covered while sleeping- Sleeping with the head covered increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.
8. Working your brain during illness- Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.
9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts- Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.
10. Talking Rarely- Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain

Household Tips # 3

Winter season is near approaching. I could feel the cold breeze already. I guess I’m not able to live without a heater in the house. I can’t stand it. It’s freaking cold. I was longing to see a snow when I was still a kid. I thought I would love it. But, I’m wrong. Gosh! The cold is unbearable. Well, I’m not whining to my husband. He understands me. He made it sure that the heater was turn on. Lol! That’s why we are paying a high amount of bill every winter season. Anyway, I have some tips to share for you. It’s for a windshield wiper frost-free fluid.

Here’s what to do:

Windshield Wiper Frost Free Fluid: When you have to leave your car outside overnight in the winter, mix 3 parts vinegar to 1 part water and coat the windows with this solution. This vinegar and water combination will keep windshields ice and frost-free.

My.Suit Men’s Professional Fashion

A couple months ago, we went to the mall to purchase a men’s suit. My husband needed it badly. He’s been working as a private security in the downtown Detroit. And, it is a must for them to wear a formal suit. To make it shorter, we ended up buying a ready-made suit. Just lately, he had notice that the suit we bought doesn’t fit that good. He feels awkward about it. Well, it’s his fault. It could have been prevented if he never rushed. From now on, I’ll make it sure that we’re not wasting money for the next purchase. I’m glad I found a site that sell Made to Measure suit at close to off-the-rack prices. MySuit is a global company with over 40 years of manufacturing and retail experience. It is a division of one of the largest suit makers in the world. Imagine that! It’s pretty amazing. The good thing is that you can make an appointment to be measured in the comfort of your own home. Plus, you can cancel or modify an existing appointment if you like. We probably purchase a suit for my husband. He needs a 6-button doubled-breasted type of jacket since he got a large body frame. For pants style, double pleat would be just perfect for him. Guys, how about you? I encourage you to visit the store and make an appointment now. I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy the in-store experience too.

How to Parallel Park

I found this informative video in the YouTube. I’ve been practicing parallel parking but seems I can’t do it right. I’m already frustrated for not able to master it until now. This video might help me get some ideas on how to park a car in parallel position. Maybe, I’ll learn if I will keep on practicing. Hopefully, next month, I will pass the road test. Fingers crossed for that. I keep on praying. Lol!

About Pilates

Last week, I’ve started including Pilates in my exercise routine. I will make it sure that I perform Pilates at least twice a week. It’s good for developing my mental and physical health. My first week of doing Pilates was really hard. My abs hurts the first time I do it. Gosh! But, it’s worth it. I feel rejuvenated after all the sweat. Eventually, it will be easier for me. All I need is more determination and consistency. According to Wikipedia, the central aim of Pilates is to create a fusion of mind and body, so that without thinking about it the body will move with economy, grace and balance. Pilates helps in the circulation of blood so that it could awaken all the cells in the body and carry away the wastes related to fatigue. Just do or breath properly to prevent wasting gases. All energy of Pilate’s exercises is said to begin from the powerhouse and flow outward to the limbs. In other words, the Pilates technique asserts that physical energy from the center should coordinate movements of the extremities. Pilates also demands intense focus. Practitioners are instructed to perform every exercise with the utmost control, including all body parts, to avoid injury and produce positive results. So, how about you? Why not include Pilates in your exercise routine. I’m sure you’ll like it too.
