Two days ago, I was really shocked when I received a phone call from Barack Obama. I hang up it immediately because I thought it’s only a joke. But just today, I found out that it’s actually Barack Obama message “The Call for Change”. So if you want to send this message to your family and friends, all you have to do is visit the site. You will write down the phone number and whole name of your friend. Then, your friend will receive a call from Barack Obama. How about you? You better wait to get Barack Obama to ring your phone.

Live to be 100!

I was reading a newspaper today and I stumbled upon a very interesting story. It's all about a woman who lives over 100 years. According to what I read, Louisiana Hines was born in Luverne, Alabama on April 13, 1898. She is an active member of Hartford Memorial Baptist Church and is involved with several groups including Amvets, Auxiliary, NAACP and Redeemerette Chapter #54 Order of the Eastern Star Prince Hall Affiliation. She is an acclaimed speaker who has recited her poetry for many organized public events. Besides poetry, Hines is also an accomplished artist who paints, does wood carvings and even fashion design. No wonder she lives a long life since she’s a very active woman. Plus, she has a strong faith and very obedient child. I really salute her. I can’t believe how she manages her time towards hobbies and organization. I don’t even know how to manage my time while I’m at home, how much more if I’m working. Gosh! She will be the right model to all the women.

Unexpected

I never expect I could still grab task from PPP very late at night. The amount is not that big but I’m glad I got it. You know it’s hard to grab opps lately unless you sit your butt refreshing the computer. I’m really thankful to God for all the blessings. God is really good. If you can still recall in my previous post, I mentioned about bad news. I’ve accepted God’s plan already. It’s his will and I’m willing to accept it with no regrets. I know it’s only part of our lives. Each one of us will really experience trials and challenges. All I pray right now is guidance and strengths. I know I’m not perfect but I’ll change eventually. I love peanuts

I love peanuts. I would eat it boiled, fried or roasted. I don’t care how it was cooked as long as it’s peanut. LOL! No wonder I got a lot of pimples. I usually eat fried peanut when I was still in the Philippines. A guy sells it in our office. I like his peanuts since it’s a little bit salty and spicy. That’s why I missed it already. The peanuts here are different. You can find big shell peanuts in the market. I enjoyed eating it. My husband cannot believe I can eat a whole bag of peanuts in 2 days. But, I can get benefits eating peanuts if I eat it moderately. According to Wikipedia, peanuts are rich source of protein (roughly 30 grams per cup after roasting). Prior to 1990 the PER method of protein evaluation considered peanut protein along with soy protein an incomplete protein, containing relatively low amounts of the essential amino acids, cystine, and methionine (but high in lysine), and it was advised to be sure that a diet or meal with peanuts as a staple also include complementary foods such as whole grains like corn and wheat, which are adequate in methionine but limited by lysine.
