Today's Bible Reading

The Bible reading reminds me of all the trials i been through. In spite, all the difficulties in my life- i manage to trust God without any doubts. Though, there are times I'm worried. But, i still manage to be optimistic for whatever outcomes may happen. As what the bible says: Do not be afraid if you believe in God. Every time, fears bound in me - i carry bible to my side. Then, i feel secured with him and my angels. I accepted all the consequences and challenges because i know it's God's will. I never give up for all the problems. I am more stronger for whatever trials i might encounter in the future. I know that if you trust God and believed in him- Then, your in his good hands. I may not be perfect in his eyes and stumbled on my feet. But, i know God will forgive me because he is a merciful one. He never forsaken me the times i needed him most. He was there to help mold my life and strong. I'm very thankful for the trials he gave me because that helps me realize the value of life.

Psalm 56: 'In God I Trust'


Be gracious to me, O God, for people trample on me;
all day long foes oppress me;
my enemies trample on me all day long,
for many fight against me.
O Most High, when I am afraid,
I put my trust in you.
In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I am not afraid;
what can flesh do to me?

all their thoughts are against me for evil.

As they hoped to have my life,

in wrath cast down the peoples, O God!

Week of Prayer

We all know that life here is not easy as we're in our own country. There's a lot of adjustments we should do. First, we should adjust of course our status here to have our rights as resident and get more opportunity. Second, the language barrier between you and other people. Third, you should adopt the the cultures and food here. Then, you should know how to adjust the way you behave with your friends, husband and families. But, I'm thankful to have friends here whom i can relate with. I meet a lot of friends through blogging. And, it really helps me. I feel as if I'm home because of my newly found friends. That's why i want to thanked all my friends for great kindness and support. I really appreciate it so much.... I'll pass this prayer to all.

Journey To Weight Loss

I Missed Lechon (roasted pig)

We Filipinos traditionally prepared lechon every time we celebrate special occasions like Christmas, new year, anniversaries and birthdays. It seems its already part of our culture to cook various Filipino foods for visitors and love ones. One dish that's presents in every occasions was lechon. Some cant afford to buy whole lechon. But, there are options- you can buy it by kilos in public markets or in restaurants. Lechon is already part of my life. My parents been selling lechon since i was a child. I even remember when i was still a little kid- i used to eat the tail of lechon almost everyday. No wonder I'm getting bigger when i was in high school. You just cant resist the yummy taste and crispy skin of roasted pig. It made me even eat more. ohhh I'm missing it now.... Wish i could purchase lechon here. But sad to say- i cant find lechon in our place. My friend told me if i know how to cook it. I told her its not an easy work to do. It takes a long process- i cant also kill a pig. lol....
