One of my favorite dessert!

Three days from now, we will be celebrating New Year’s Eve. Whew! Time is so fast. It’s like we have just celebrated New Year’s Eve yesterday. Gosh! Hopefully, the economy will get better soon. Anyway, my husband’s boss invited us for a cocktail party this coming January 1st. They are such a nice couple. I wish they would have a profitable business next year so my husband will get a lot of work, too. LOL! I probably bake some cassava cake for them. I’m sure they would love the Filipino style cassava cake that I'm going to make. I’m pretty excited right now. I really want to thank them for being so nice to us. In fact, we receive a gift card from them a couple days ago. They even gave us Christmas greeting card. Tomorrow, I’ll start buying all the ingredients at the Filipino store. And, perhaps bake some cassava cake for us as well. It’s been a couple of months that I haven’t eaten cassava cake. I'm already imagining eating cassava cake right now. Hehehe! No wonder I never lose weight. I can’t resist sweet desserts. But, I promise I’ll stop eating sweets next year. Wink* That would be my New Year's Resolution.
