Cranberries- Is It Taste Good?

Have you tried eating cranberries? Is it yummy? Well, I’m asking you this questions since I never eat cranberries yet. I wonder what it taste like. Perhaps, it taste like a strawberries. LOL! Anyway, I’ve heard that Cranberries is good for your health, too. According to the Wikipedia, cranberries have moderate levels of vitamin C, dietary fiber and the essential dietary mineral, manganese, as well as a balanced profile of other micronutrients. Cranberries are a source of polyphenol antioxidants, phytochemicals under active research for possible benefits to the cardiovascular system, immune system and as anti-cancer agents. They also help calm your tissues. The quercetin, proanthocyanidins, and resveratol helps put the chill on chronic vascular inflammation- and that may lead to younger arteries and lower risk of cardiovascular disease. They may also balance your blood fats. Further research has shown that cranberry juice may increase good-for-you HDL cholesterol and reduce lousy LDL cholesterol. So I better try including cranberries in my grocery list. How about you?

Cranberries are tart. I don't like it except for Cranberry juice which is good for your body and Craisins (like raisins). Other than that, it's not good even in muffins. You're not missing anything, just skip this. LOL
