My mom couldn’t be more into the Today show if she tried…I don’t know what it is she likes so much about it. To be honest, I think it’s kind of silly and I just don’t get the appeal but I do like to look at Matt Lauer, let’s be honest. Anyway, I went to http://www.direct.tv/ last year and got mom a DirecTV hookup so she’d have all these channels but every time I come to her house she’s just watching Today. Even at nighttime she’s watching the DVR version from earlier in the day! I don’t get what she likes about an open format news and entertainment show but I guess I can’t judge. I like some pretty weird stuff myself so at the end of the day it’s totally her prerogative to like whatever she likes. At least she doesn’t watch Good Morning America…I would really judge her for that one! I can’t believe that show is still on the air, to be honest with you, it’s worse than the tabloids.

I’m so excited right now. At last, I convinced my husband to buy me a new LV purse. Luckily for some reason, he sold two items in his eBay today. When I got home a couple hours ago, he showed me the picture of the bag that I wanted. He asked me if that’s the purse I liked. Of course, I would never refuse it. It’s a bit expensive than the purse I wanted to purchased but I don’t really want to wait for another year to own one. Christmas is done already. I should have something this year. LOL! I know I’m selfish. I’m just joking. I guess Santa is so nice today. He’s going to give me an LV purse because I’m a good girl this year. LOL! Gees! I can’t wait for Saturday to come. We will be heading to LV store to purchase this bag.

When we got married I put on a few pounds, well, ten to be exact. I wasn’t expecting to gain weight but we were nesting and all I ever wanted to do was get home from work and cook dinner with my new husband. I love him to death but his eating habits aren’t exactly the best so it’s taken a lot of control to try to get back on track. One of my favorite things about summer is getting to go and visit a lot of my friends that I went to undergrad with. Now that I'm in grad school and super busy during the school year, it's really nice to take that extra bit of time off in order to go and see them. It seems like we're all spread out over the country now, which means that I get to see a lot of the country. But we all never get together. That is until now, they're all going to be gathering at my apartment for a weekend. It's going to be crazy, but amazing.

As part of being a great host, I went online to see if I could find some really great summer treats to fix for them. Out of all the recipes I saw, this one for pineapple flavored ice cream just sounded amazing, so I'm going to attempt to make that for them. If that doesn't work, I'll just go buy a couple of cartons of ice cream instead.

Going running with your dog is a great way that the two of you can not only bond together, but it is also going to allow both of you to get the exercise that you need almost everyday. The firs thing that you are going to want to do is make sure that it isn't too hot out to run with your dog, since they have fur and they can get overheated very easily. You are also going to want to carry a portable water bowl with you, along with a bottle of water as well. I always make sure that stop enough times to let my dog Jaster drink, and I find that it allows him to run for a longer period of time. Jaster loves running with me everyday, and I also feel a lot safer when I take my dog out running with me, opposed to running around on my own. I al! so set my home security alarm (adt alarm)every time that I leave because I have the dog with me. If you are looking for a great
way to give your dog some attention and affection, then taking him or her running is a great way to do it.

A couple of months ago my boyfriend got this pair of really great vintage motorcycle boots and I was instantly jealous because I saw a pair of boots like that before that and told him I wanted some. So he of course went out and got a pair for himself! But one night when I was over at his place I tried on the boots with two pairs of socks and they actually fit okay! After that I had to wear them out when we went bar hopping with our friends and I got lots of compliments on them - way more compliments than my boyfriend got when he wore them!

Well, he wasn't that crazy about that so I started looking up with my SatelliteStarInternet to find a pair of boots that were similar to his that I could keep for my own. I mean, I guess that we don't want to wear the boots at the same time, but I don't think he appreciates me stealing his boots all the time.

Well I found some at DSW that were pretty similar to his, except one good thing about it is that they're more comfortable because they actually fit!

I still recalled in my teen years when I got in love with a guy who is so sweet. Actually, he was my first love. I would say, the saying, “First love will never die” is probably true. Giggles! LOL! I still remember those days when he makes me really in love that my mom decided to send me to school away from him. That’s the time where I got heart broken. I’m sure I’ve mentioned in my previous post that I will be looking for printer ink. Until now, I haven’t purchase cheap ink yet. For some reason, we still have bills that we have to pay first especially now that my Philippines vacation is final. I bought plane ticket already. Plus not to mention, I have to save for my pocket money that I’m going to use while I’m there. You can’t just depend for your family to pay for you. One of our culture in the Philippines is that you have to treat your family with your hard earn money. Anyway before I’ll make my story longer, I hope I could find cheaper inkjet cartridges online. That would be really awesome. We really need it as soon as possible. Wish me luck for that!

Girls Clothing!

A couple days ago, I was able to chat with my family back home. Of course, a chat without a webcam is not complete. It was really incredible since all my family was there including my nieces and nephew. They are all big now. I can’t believe it. I can’t wait to see them in person. My greatest fear is to look back on the time during my kids growing up and think that I didn't spend enough time with them. I don't think that will happen, but I'm still terrified of it. As a result, I made a decision this year to spend more time with my kids as a New Year's resolution.

I went online to try and find some ideas for things that don't involve TV that I could do with my kids. Too much of what we do together is watch TV and that distracts from our family time together. When I was online looking for some quality time ideas I found this Clear Wimax online offer that sounded really great, so I'm going to sign up for it for our home internet service.

But I wanted to find fun things for us to do together as part of my parenting resolutions, so I went out and bought these wooden rocking horses and a bunch of paint and we're going to paint them together, so they'll have them to play on and be reminded of that time we painted them together.

Now that Christmas is nearly here, I've been putting the finishing touches on everything around the house. The tree is decorated with all of the family ornaments, there are lights and inflatables all outside the house, and Christmas music is going on the stereo 24/7. This place must be one of the most decorated places in town! Every room in my house exudes Christmas spirit, and itÕs actually been pretty great if I do say so myself. I need to give most of the credit to my wife, since she's the one who's largely responsible for making the place look so nice and cheery. I mostly helped with getting the lights on around the outside of the house, but she's definitely the brains behind the operation! While out there, I noticed that we have a few roof and siding issues. Once the holidays are over I am going to look for Indiana Sears Home Improvement options, but right now itÕs safe to say that our light displays will overshadow any imperfections.

Last winter, I just couldn't wait for the snow to arrive. I had recently gotten a digital camera that I really wanted to try out on some good snowy photographs. I waited and waited and it never snowed. But one day, I woke up and there was about thirty inches of snow outside. It was absolutely ridiculous. I couldn't even get outside to take pictures, so I took them from my window. They actually came out pretty decently and I made sure to upload them to my favorite website. Obviously, the photographing part was the easy one. I then had to go out and shovel my way out.

My mother and I went outside and began shoveling the driveway. The snow was extremely heavy and it was very hard to shovel. After a few minutes, my mother and I were absolutely exhausted. My boyfriend was at work at the time and so he couldn't come over to help. My father was on a business trip and we were left in the snow for about two days before we finally made our way out. It might seem scary to be snowed in like that, but it wasn't too bad. We spent the entire time watching our favorite programs on our satellite television from http://www.directstartv.com. Of course, I won't be looking forward to that amount of snow every again. I'll just take pictures of flowers from now on.

It's incredible just how much work and preparation goes into one large dinner with the family. What's even more incredible is how much food we had for the day. We always plan like we are going to feed an army, and we end up with a great amount of surplus. With Thanksgiving just having ended, my husband Gregory and I have a refrigerator that is packed full of leftovers. Not only did we make a wide variety of dishes, all of our family was very generous and helped pull together one of the largest thanksgiving contributions that we've ever had. Just looking into the refrigerator, I have no idea how we are ever going to eat all of this food.

Since this food was originally for family, we are going to try to coordinate an official leftover night and see if some of our family wants to come back to help us polish out the fridge. It would be a great excuse to see everyone again. After looking up new hearing aids from HearingAids.Miracle-Ear.com, I sent out a mass email to everyone. Looks like we are all to get back together tomorrow night! This is great news.

One of the great things about black Friday shopping is that it is the best time to get great deals for Christmas presents. After all why wait until a few weeks before Christmas to get all of your Christmas gifts, when you can get just as good deals during black Friday. So I went ahead and asked my friends and family what they would like for this Christmas. The first thing to do is to make list of all the necessary items. The morning of black Friday, I intend to wear the most comfortable shoes that I own. This is a day where I plan on doing plenty of walking around.

The next thing on my list is wardrobe. I do not plan on wearing anything heavy, after all something like a coat will just be an inconvenience while walking around endlessly. After that, I plan on eating well and consuming large amounts of caffeine in the morning before going out for shopping. As we all know, shopping can be very tiring and not being physically prepared can be exhausting. In fact if it were any more tiring it would qualify as a sport. For this kind of shopping trip I would rather go alone. After all, what is the using of shopping in front of the people I am going to buy presents for? I am a busy woman and am always working but not matter what I make time for my friend Brittany. We are the most unlikely pair. She is about twenty years younger than me. I am a classy gal, she is a skinny tatooed youth. I have a fulltime job, she floats around and works painting houses for her dad when he has the work available for her. I have five kids, she has none yet. I have tons of patience and she has a very short fuse. We are both very creative people. She likes art and tatoos and I like to write. Why I Love My Bowling League

My husband and I met during a bowling league when we were both in college, but haven't played much in the years since. Recently, he brought home a flier from the local bowling alley advertising adult bowling leagues, so we decided to give it a go. We have meets twice a week, and have been loving the competition and the opportunity to meet new people.

After he and I both get home from work on the nights when we have a meet, we'll eat a quick dinner before getting ready to head out. He usually packs together our equipment with our balls and shoes, while I clean up the dishes. Then, we set the home security alarm (Alarm Systems packages) and get in the car to head to the alley.

Once we're there, we find our friends from the league and figure out who our competition for the evening will be. There are some pretty great teams out there and our team certainly isn't at the top of the list, but we're definitely within the top five teams. One of the best parts of the whole experience has been getting to know other couples, but also getting to work with people and learn from them. Many of the people have bowled for years, and have been able to work with us to get our games back in shape.

Now that my husband and I are reaching retirement age, we are starting to think about how we want to spend our golden years. For the past several years, weÕve been in the twilight of our long work careers. During the process, weÕve come home and had too many TV dinners while watching our favorite shows. On one hand, itÕs been comforting and a good way to wind down, but lately weÕre starting to think about diets and also about all the other things we could be doing instead of just letting time go by in front of the tube.

As an alternative, weÕve recently tried to turn fitness into a fun hobby. We get home from our daysÕ work and head to the gym three times a week to participate in cardio kickboxing. Yesterday, after purchasing a new pair of Hearing Aids by Miracle Ear, we went to the gym to hit punching bags and get better for our classes next week. WeÕve had a lot of fun, and we are glad we have something new to help stay healthy together.

When I sit at home with nothing to do but hide from my nagging wife, I am thankful for the invention of the service called Free on Demand. In the past, I could only use the television card during specific times of the day, during sports contests on Sunday or NBC's Thursday night comedy lineup. However, now that we have this service called Free on Demand, my favorite shows are always on, providing me with the escape I so desperately require since my wife can really get annoying, which would be grounds for divorce if she weren't so hot.

There is a ratio of hotness to nagging that any man is willing to put up with, which I call the ratio of absolute zero. For instance, if a woman rated as a six on the hotness scale, anything more than a six on the nagging scale would result in a quick call to my attorney and separate bank accounts. If she is a nine, however, like my wife, only a ten on the nagging and annoyance scale would result in us parting ways. Since my wife is a solid eight, she is granted a reprieve. This does not mean I am emotionally invincible, and I must find excuses to make her be quiet. With Free on Demand there is always something on, and it's all thanks to our directtv.

My daughter loved shopping for clothes, but I admit I usually dreaded it. Our taste was not terribly similar, and she did not understand the idea of shopping for sales and deals. With the school year about to start, I decided I would be shopping online rather than going to the mall. I told her she was welcome to help me shop online as long as she understood that I was in charge. She agreed to work with me and we decided to create a list of what we needed. She was very girly and loved having dresses and skirts to wear to school. I knew she needed some casual play clothes as well and her shoes needed to be replaced. We logged onto our hugh net internet to get online and hit my daughter's favorite store, Gymboree, first. She fell in love with everything, and I narrowed down her options to a few selections I liked as well. Once we had that purchase done, we surfed through Old Navy, Carter's and decided to browse a few higher-end boutique sites as well. Within a matter of a couple of hours, we had all her school clothes shopping done and we had actually enjoyed it. I knew this would be our method of shopping going forward as it had actually been a fun activity for us.

You probably wonder about the title of my blog. Well, we had a blast at work yesterday. We were having a party outside our work parameter for 3 hours. And, these hours are with pay of course. Every summer, all the workers will have a barbecue party and games were set up. We all enjoy the games. Each of us should participate with the games. They even have ticket raffles picked at the end of party. Unfortunately, I didn’t win. My two colleagues wins one day off with pay. Imagine that! Gees! Why my name wasn’t picked? I needed a rest day so bad. Well hopefully, my name will be the winner next time. Fingers crossed! But, I have to wait for one year again. LOL!

Watching The Oscars!

I love watching the Oscars. That includes the pre-show, where I can let my inner fashion critic out and maintain a running (critical) commentary directed at either my cats or my long suffering boyfriend. I always make sure to have snacks ready and to let friends and family know that I will not be answering the phone except during commercials. And the most they will get out of me then is a brief speech about why orange is not an acceptable color to wear on a red carpet. And then I will hang up on them.

This year I enjoyed them as much as ever. I was able to flip on our awesome satellite television in North Carolina and settle in for the duration, snacks and cats near at hand. Sandra Bullock looked great and at that point we didn't yet know what a jerk her husband would turn out to be so watching him tear up as she accepted her award was really sweet. 'Avatar' of course won a bunch of awards as did 'The Hurt Locker.' Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin were super funny together - not that it's hard for Steve Martin to be funny - so no disappointment there. Ben Stiller, in full 'Avatar' make-up, was definitely hilarious too. Maybe they can look at him to host next year? Whoever they pick, I'm already looking forward to 2011 and getting to watch and dream of winning one myself.

It's Been a Long Time!

It’s been a long time since the last time I posted at this blog. Gees! Perhaps, you could find a spider web from this blog. LOL! Anyway, I’ve been very busy working six days a week. I don’t even have time cleaning the house. Just joking! Yeah, it’s really hard to maintain two blogs while working 6 days a week. What do you think about that? I’m sure you’ll say how busy my life was. Well, that’s a life of a being poor women. You have to work to pay all your bills on time. And of course, you can send money to your love ones who needed you so badly. I still have obligation to help since I’m the only one who could provide their needs. Enough for all the dramas! Snow Snow Snow!

It’s snowing outside today. I don’t know how many inches of snow but it’s really thick in front of our house. But, you cant stop my husband to go outside. So, we decided to have our dinner in the restaurant. After we ate, I practiced driving in the road with snow. Gees! It’s my first to drive in a freeway where there’s a big snow. At least, it’s not slippery or else I’ll have a hard time driving in the road. I enjoyed it though. LOL! I think it’s fun. Hopefully, I will be fine driving when my hubby is not beside me. I’ve heard in the news that the cold weather will remain for a long time. Gees! It’s going to be problem for me since I have a second hand car with no enough heater. I hope I could find a real job soon. So I don’t have to worry anymore about paying some bills and having a wreck car. Hehehe!

The party was really a blast. We had a lot of games. I even won one of the games we played. I’m very sure that I’ll win it because I was the only one who had big hips. LOL! All of my Filipinas friends are so small. Anyway, the food was really awesome. That’s one of the reason I love to attend Filipino parties like that. I love Filipino foods. I’d love to post the pictures here but I’m so ashamed of my body. I’m very fat. But, I realized that I should lose weight now. That’s one of my new year’s resolutions. I saw this picture while I was browsing for decorating ideas online. If I have the chance to renovate our living room, I would love it to be like this. It’s cute and simple. The style and color is really excellent. It’s not too gaudy. It’s perfect for me. Love it! The interior decorator in this room is probably a professional one. I don’t know if the furniture is expensive or affordable. But, I really wish I could afford to buy accessories and furniture’s so I could start decorating our living room. LOL! Gees! Christmas is just around the corner. You could feel the cold air outside. Not to mention, the white flakes flowing from the clouds. Gees! Enough of this craziness I have in mind. Well, that’s what you get if you are stocked inside the house for the whole week. It seems very boring to keep on doing the daily routine. Plus, I can’t stand the cold. Frankly, I hated when winter season comes. Sigh! I miss working already. Hopefully, I could find job next year. That’s all I want to get for the New Year. Anyway, do you have any plans for Christmas Eve? We might celebrate it at friend’s house. Or, we probably just dine out together and then go home afterwards. Pretty boring! I miss celebrating Christmas and New Year’s Eve at home. You can’t beat the celebration we have in the Philippines. It’s really merry. And of course, you’ll celebrate it together with your family. A couple days ago, I chatted with my classmates in high school. I can’t believe I found them in Facebook site. The world is really small. What makes me happy is that I recalled all the memories I had in my high school years especially looking our class pictures. We even talked about our instructor in high school. It was funny. They talked about how behave and quite I am in our classroom. LOL! The picture above is one of the memories we had in high school years. I’d like to attend reunion next year. I want to meet all my classmates in high school. Hopefully, it will happen. I can’t wait! I’m sure it’s fun. Gees! So excited right now! I need to save up money for the next year vacation.

I noticed it’s been a long time since I posted something in this blog. I apologize for that. I’ve been very busy in this few weeks especially now that I started going to school for my certified nursing assistant class. Gees! I don’t even notice it was my birthday a couple days ago until I received a gift from hubby. He gave me a pretty pink Ipod nano in my birthday (my favorite color). I really never expect it since he already gave me money for a coach bag. But well, I’m still very happy at least I could use it while exercising. Just to prevent boredom while using the elliptical. I really need to start a daily routine of exercises or else I will look like a big whale soon. LOL! Anyway, my problem now is that I don’t know how to get a free music in my Ipod. It freaks me out paying 1 dollar for 1 song only. I hope I could find anything that I could download for free. I hope somebody would help me for that. I’m sure there are still free songs out there. Just guessing! Please help!

I came across with this cute little bag while browsing online. I would say I fell in love with this bag immediately. LOL! I can’t stop thinking about it. It would be even better if the color of this bag were pink. Good thing, my friends will be going to the coach factory by the end of this month. I probably go with them to see if I could get this bag for a cheaper price. I’ve heard that they sell cheaper prices than in the stores. So I’ll see if it’s really true. 2nd Wedding Anniversary

This is what I got from my hubby in our 2nd wedding anniversary last weekend. I was very happy when hubby told me that we would be going to the jewelry store to buy the necklace that I wanted. You see I’ve been wishing for this necklace for a long time. And fortunately, he gave it to me in our anniversary. While, I just bought this estee lauder perfume for him with cards of course. Plus, it has free makeup kit on it. LOL! Well, I told him I’ll buy him a wristwatch but he doesn’t want any gifts from me. So I took advantage of it. Funny me! Just kidding! Anyway, we had a great anniversary celebration together. We went to Henry Ford Museum for the first time of my stay here in the US. In our special day, we had a dinner in a very nice Italian restaurant in haggerty road. We meet a couple that’s also a Filipina. Everything was really perfect for both of us. Hopefully, god will bless us more years being together, good health and more love. Chucks! Anyway, that’s all for now. I guess I need to lie down for a moment watching my favorite TV channel. It’s been a couple of days I haven’t posted in this blog. I just don’t have anything to say. It seems my mind is not working anymore. Anyway, I hate to whine in my blog but I just want to express my feelings by posting it here. I don’t want to burst my heart. I hate to say this but I don’t feel excited working anymore. I know it’s hard to find a job in this time of economic crisis. But sometimes, I feel self-pity when someone yells at me while working. There are really some people who think they are superior to you. I’ve never experience treated me like a dog. But, when I started working with Mexican around me- I realized how hard living in America. These a.k.a supervisors treated you like a dog. I just can’t accept it. Yelling at you to work faster is not acceptable to me. Plus, the wage is not worth my time to be yelled at. What makes me angry is that they treated their countrymen like a dogs. Now, I knew from an old lady who works in the same company that some of the Mexican doesn’t have papers. And, they can’t complain about it. I don’t know if it’s a necessary in the US to pay the workers doubled when it’s a Labor Day. But, that’s what I’ve notice from this company. (Too much hard labor for a less money is ridiculous) Some people really are selfish and cruel to others.

I can’t wait to go to Kay jewelers tomorrow. Yesterday, we received a coupon from a certain Kay jeweler’s branch near us that offers 25% off the regular price of their jewelry items. Hopefully, the Levian necklace that I am eyeing for a long time is still available in that store. Or else, I will be disappointed without the necklace in my hand. LOL! I guess it’s hubby’s anniversary gift for me. I will be shopping a coffee maker as a gift for my hubby as well. I already asked what he likes for our anniversary next week but he doesn’t want any gifts from me-just love and care. Well, I promise him before that I’ll give him something when I’ll have work. So now, I’ll make it come true. Promises should not be broken. Anyway, I’m pretty excited right now. I’m sure I can’t sleep well tonight for all the excitement. Hehehe! Forgive me if I’m so funny sometimes. I feel like I’m a child again.

Yesterday, we went to church to attend a mass. The mass finished at exactly one o’clock in the afternoon. So we decided to go to the mall and eat at the Chinese buffet. We were both hungry since we never ate breakfast and lunch yet. Luckily, they had a whole basin of crabs waiting for me. LOL! Actually, I can eat the whole thing if I want to. Just kidding! My husband makes fun of me while cracking those crabs. Gees! It’s really hard to open those crabs but it’s all worth it. At least, we don’t have to go to expensive restaurant just for crabs or lobster. We’re trying to save money as much as we could especially in these times of economic crisis. It’s really important to cook at the house more often. I admit it’s not easy for me since I really don’t have the passion for cooking. But, I realized the importance of saving money in our household. As what they say, every penny counts. However, we still have time to dine out once in awhile. We can’t stop the urge to crave for yummy foods. Perhaps, that’s reason why we never lose any weight. I guess food is already our weakness. To sum up it all, I was really enjoying the whole day yesterday bonding with my husband. I hope we will have a lot of time enjoying each other’s company. I mean forever happiness and love. Charing! Hehehe!

Anticipated Letter!

Yesterday, my hubby received a letter from his son. Actually, he was not home when I got the letter. I apologize to hubby via phone because I opened it without his permission. Luckily, he doesn’t mind it. I’m really guilty about it until now. I should have not open hubby’s personal letter. Gees! I’m a bad wife. But, I already promise not to do it again. I was crying as I was reading the whole letter. It’s been two years that they never saw or communicate to each other. My husband called them by phone many times but nobody answers. Of course, my husband quits. He still has some pride. I understand it! At least, hubby pays child support every month. I just can’t figure out why his ex never answers the phone. It started when I talked to his son two years ago. Perhaps, it was only misunderstanding. I really don’t know! Hopefully, hubby’s son will accept me as his mom. If I could only talk to him, I would tell him how his dad loves him so much. I’m pretty sure of that! It’s hubby’s own blood. Well, I’m just happy that hubby’s son broke the silence. That’s one of my prayers. Thanks God it was granted.

It’s about time to join for a gym membership. My pants are getting tighter each day. And of course, my weight becomes heavier. LOL! I’m really worried right now. I don’t know why I can’t stop nibbling. I guess it’s my weakness already. Plus, the worse thing is that I crave for sweets stuffs which is not good to my health especially we had diabetes patients in our family. Geez! I keep on telling to start all over again but there’s still no progress until now. It’s really my fault. It’s only me who can help myself to lose weight and live a healthy lifestyle. If not, I’ll suffer the consequences. This is it! Starting Monday with or without my friend, I’ll register for a gym membership. This is already final my friend. The month of august is finally here. Next month, my hubby and I will be celebrating our 2nd anniversary. Hopefully, it turns out to be a merry day for both of us with God’s blessing and mercy. I was really having a good time this weekend. The fact that my husband and I spent more time together is really wonderful. I love it! God knows how happy I am when we’re together. Well, it’s really hard for me when I only see him during my days off. Though, I sleep beside him after work- it’s still not enough for me. I came home at 3 am so he was already sleeping. Maybe, I was just demanding or what. But, I love it when we cuddle and talk each other before going to sleep. LOL! Very selfish huh! I’m sure most of you understand my predicaments you know. I’m used to having him in my side after his work. Anyways, I’m still thankful for everything. I can’t complain anymore. God is really good to us. What’s important we’re happy and satisfied. You probably noticed that I haven’t updated this blog for a week now. I apologized for it. It’s just this past few days I was really busy for something. A lot of things need to be done. Mostly, my time was divided by work, sleeping and looking for job. However, until now, nobody even bother to call me back for an interview. LOL! That’s the sign of recession. We even went to a job fair. But, it’s not working either. It’s really useless. Job application should be done online. Gees! If we just knew we just spend our time at home. It’s a save of gas money and time. Anyways, I just hope and pray that one of these days somebody will call us for a job. Or, my option will be training for a certified nursing assistant. I’m really confused right now. Hopefully, it will get better soon for us. I’ll just trust everything to God. He knows well than me.

Almost Got Lost!

I almost got lost while driving today. I missed one maneuver. I should go straight ahead and not turn. But, I was wrong. Lucky, I brought my GPS Navigation system or else I will be in trouble. It’s really helpful. I can’t imagine it if I only follow the map quest. Geez! It’s pretty scary! I might not able to get back home until now. LOL! Just kidding! I just hope the company that I applied today will call me for an interview. Fingers cross! I really need to find a new job since my work right now is only seasonal. Gosh! It’s really hard to find jobs nowadays. They want certification or experiences. How can I secure that one? I should have schooling or some sort of training soon. Hopefully, God will guide me and grant my entire wish. Hehehe!

I’m craving for a chocolate shake at Arbys right now. I don’t know why I’m craving for sweets. Maybe, it’s because of the hot weather we had this past few days. I went to my friend today to go with me for a haircut. I need a haircut since my hair was getting longer each day. I look like an old maiden woman who needs some trim care. LOL! That’s what my friend told me. However, my husband loves my long hair. I wonder why he doesn’t want me to cut my hair. Well, it’s too late already. I made it cut shorter. Right now, he doesn’t talk to me. Gosh! Hope he understand it. Gosh! I’m pretty sure he’ll talk to me after I give him a back massage. Hehehe! At least, I don’t have to suffer from sweat because I got a long hair. It’s really a pain the ass to shampoo it. I also could see the split ends in the tip of my hair. So it’s really a good decision that I went to the salon today.

I can’t believe it. I thought I would never make it today since I’m not really in a mood this morning. But thanks God- I did it. God is really good. He grants my prayers. My husband was really happy. He even bought MP3 player for me. He told me he knew I would pass my road test. He could see how determined and confident I am to pass. I think God is just with me. I say a little prayer before I took my road test. I’m really thankful to God with all my heart.

Two days ago, I was really craving for banana split. So I asked hubby if he can stop by at Baskin Robbins. Gosh! It’s been awhile that I haven’t eaten ice cream. It’s been awhile that I haven’t updated my blogs. I’m really busy these past few days. I worked three consecutive days this week so it’s really hard to get a peek. I even had hundreds of emails waiting for me when I opened my yahoo account. But, it’s still worth it. If God permits that I could still able to work this week, I will be receiving my first paycheck. I’m really excited! LOL! I can’t even wait for Friday to come. I’m really thankful to God for all the blessings. He really answers my prayers. Thanks God! You probably notice in my previous post how devastated I am. But, I’m so glad it’s over now. All I just pray that everything will continue to be fine. Yesterday, I told my friend that I also want to apply for the job she’s working right now. Since my husband doesn’t listened to me, I went out and walked myself until I found a bus stop. Gosh! It’s not easy. It takes me an hour before I get there. Plus, I don’t know what’s happening to me why I never able to get there on time. I guess I’m the dumbest person you’ll ever know. LOL! The bad thing is that I was lost. I don’t know how to get home anymore. So I don’t have any choice but to call my husband who was sleeping that time. He was really pissed. He doesn’t want me to take bus because it’s not safe. But, I didn’t listen. Now, I regret what I did. Imagine walking for three hours! I can’t believe I did that. I would never do that again. Promise! It’s really sucks. Until now, my legs hurt. I realized it’s not really easy without a car. Gees! However, I manage to make my hubby calm. And, I was able to convince him to drive me going to my friend.

Not Feeling Well!

Today is really a bad day for me. I don’t feel good. I feel like I was floating when we went to the store. I blame this for not sleeping early. I can’t sleep without my husband beside me. Plus, I’m afraid sleeping alone. Gosh! I just can’t stand being alone. How I wish my hubby could find a better job soon. I don’t know what to do now. My depression hits me so bad. I can’t do anything about it. I want to cry and cry until I got tired. Gees! When will I have peace in mind? It’s really hurting me sometimes. I feel helpless! I just don’t know. I don’t want to ask God anymore. I don’t want to expect either. Just let everything happen. I guess it’s better.

I love decorating our house with decors and furniture. It’s one of my fashions in life. It’s a great feeling when you see it organize. We’ve been planning to add some furniture in our living room area. I think rustic furniture is good but I’d rather have it in our bedroom. The style and material looks comfortable to me. It seems you are sleeping in a peaceful forest homes. I love it! In fact, you could see I posted a picture of what type of bed I would get in the future. Isn’t it nice? How To Get A Better Sleep!

It’s been a couple days that I haven’t sleep well. It started when my husband’s work schedule changes. He works from 12 midnights up to 8 in the morning. I don’t know why I can’t sleep without him beside me. It’s really weird. But, I think I’m only scared sleeping alone. That’s the reason I researched for answers on how to get a better sleep. And, here’s the answer I got online.

1. Get regular exposure to daylight, especially in the afternoon- I tried to get some sunlight every day but I’m just wondering I still can’t sleep.
2. Prior to bedtime, use dimmer switches or turn off a few lamps to lower the lighting in your home- as what I’ve posted above, I am afraid of the dark. LOL!
3. Don’t allow yourself to nod off on the sofa- I really don’t sleep in the sofa. It’s a pain in the ass.
4. Use your bedroom only for sleep and sex- Yeah; it’s really comfortable if you sleep in the bed.
5. When you can’t sleep, try using imagery and thoughts to relax- yeah, I tried this one and it works for me.
6. If you haven’t dropped off within about 20 minutes, get our of bed and read or engage in some other quite activity- this also works for me. I even do some exercise just to make myself tired and sleepy.
7. Put the alarm clock out of sight- this is definitely true! Looking at your clock will only keep you awake.

A couple days ago, we went to the mall to purchase the dress I was eyeing for a long time. I thought I would never find it anymore. Luckily, it was still hang at the same spot. LOL! As usual, my husband keeps bugging me. He wants me to find a dress that is really loose. Gees! Of course, I don’t want to look like a boxer. But, I’m really surprise a small size fits me well. However, I was little disappointed when I found a dress which has the same style I just bought but with cheaper price. Imagine almost half a price! Gosh! I could have bought two dresses. Well, I can’t return the dress anymore. I don’t like returning stuffs unless it’s ruined. It’s a shame for me. Better luck next time. I Missed It!

My husband and I went to the mall yesterday after having some talk with his dad. We thought all malls were close every Memorial Day. But, we are wrong. I’m just disappointed because I wasn’t able to shop at my favorite store. We arrived there around 4 o’clock and eat at the food court. I think we spent an hour just by eating and another 30 minutes inside the coffee shop. That’s the reason I missed my shopping. The store closes at exactly 6 in the afternoon. It’s really very early. It’s probably because it’s Memorial Day. They supposedly close around 9. I really blame my hubby for spending time in the coffee shop. I could have bought the dress that I was eyeing for a long time. I really want to buy a black purse. I started browsing a couple days ago. Finally, I found this cute bag at Macys. The color is great but I only need dark colors. A black bag looks great for everything. You can wear any colors with it. Not to mention, you don’t have to worry for dirt sticking in your bag since it’s not visible. I have gold and yellow bags but it looks nasty because of some stains on it. That’s why I’ll stick on dark colors instead. Hopefully, my husband will purchase this bag for me. LOL! The Dog Next Door!

I’m really worried right now. I can’t forgive myself if something happen to the dog next door. A couple hours ago, three kids knock on our door. They wanted to get inside our backyard to look for their dog. But, when I got out, I found out that the dog they are talking about is our neighbor’s dog. So I told them that the owner of the dog is our neighbor next door. They were speechless. No wonder the dog hides in our backyard. So I let the dog enter our house so they won’t catch her. Then, when I didn’t see them anymore- I let the dog go out. Few minutes later, I never saw the dog anymore. I’m afraid to go out to find her since I’m alone in our house. My husband will come home late tonight. Gosh! I’ve already loved this dog. I’m just pissed because the owner never cares of their dog. They let her out all day even if it’s raining. The dog likes to go in our house because I always gave her food. She looks pity. Sigh! I hope she’s only hiding somewhere. I feel guilty that I never let her stay for few hours inside our house.

I’m not a mother yet but I had a blast for this special day with my newly found Filipino friends. They are in their 40’s right now. But, they are truly amazing people. I met them inside the buffet restaurant a couple weeks ago. My husband asked one of them if she was a Filipina. Then, he told her that I’m a Filipina too. Two of them approached me in our table and give each other’s telephone numbers. They told me to come with them in the church every Sunday. So yesterday, I celebrate mother’s day with them and many Filipinos in the church. They are not catholic but it doesn’t matter anymore. As long I worship one God and enjoy the fellowship with co-Filipino friends then every thing will be fine. We can’t be save by religion anyway. It’s only us who can save ourselves by doing good to others and to God. After the mass, we went downstairs to celebrate the special event. Of course, it’s not complete without Filipino foods in the big table. Yummy! It was great. I really enjoyed it. I’m so happy I met them. I would surely go back next Sunday.

I’ve been applying for jobs online. But, I don’t know why I never have luck yet. I’m just wondering if this is due to the economic crisis we are facing lately. Or maybe, they need somebody who has some work experience in the U.S. Unfortunately; I don’t have any experience working here yet. Though, I do have some interviews from employers last year. In fact, two employers hired me but my husband can’t drive for me going to the workplace. It’s a conflict of his work schedule. That’s why I tried to practice these driving stuffs so I can drive myself. Gosh! Life is so hard. It’s not like in the Philippines where you can only ride a bus going to the places you wanted. Sigh! I better stop thinking about it. It’s only giving me headaches.

Have you heard about the news lately? If so, you probably know what I mean. This is all about health issues. And, I’m scared to hell right now. The swine flu virus is blamed for 86 deaths and an estimated 1,400 cases in the Mexico. This is what I read in the Newspaper and heard in the news. It’s scary. What’s more disturbing is that this virus seems to spread among people more easily than past swine flu’s that have sometimes jumped from pigs to people. I hope there is vaccinations for this kind of virus and won’t spread anymore. I recall the virus that hits in Asia few years ago, which kills thousands of people. Correct me if I’m wrong. But, it is still-hunting me. I was scared that time. Well, as what I’ve always say- we can’t do anything about it. All we need to do is pray that there will be no more people infected with this virus.

The reason we don’t have connection is that somebody stole the AT&T cable in our neighborhood. It really pisses me off since I missed all my daily routines here. Plus, I hate thefts. I thought winter season is already over. I guess I’m wrong since it snowing today. I never thought it would be possible to have a snowy day in springtime. It’s pretty nasty weather. I might catch cold later. I feel crap. If I only knew that it’s going to snow, I would not bother going out for our dinner. Yesterday, I did another online shopping again. Glad that I didn’t have to pay for the shipping. Though, I’m very disappointed since the dress I like most was not available anymore. Gosh! One of my favorite animals on this planet is a dolphin. They are considered to be amongst the most intelligent of animals. Dolphins have a friendly appearance and playful attitude, which have made them popular in human culture. They are such a beautiful creation made by God. They are capable of making broad range of sounds, which I really love to hear. I still recall when we watched the Dolphin presentation at Subic Bay. Wow! It was amazing. I love it. Anyway, would you like to watch a video of these fantastic sea creatures making Dolphin Bubbles? You probably enjoy watching this video, too. Gosh! I can’t imagine how they come up with this amazing phenomenon. They can create and play with underwater bubble rings. Isn’t it great? They are really intelligent. Huh! A very fascinating behavior you can rarely see from other animals. How I wish I own one of them. LOL! Or, I wish we could watch these incredible dolphins in real life. Sigh! Hopefully, our plan vacation at Orlando Florida will really happen so we could visit the Sea World. That would be the greatest vacation I’ve ever had in my entire life if it happens. Another Coat For Me!

Yesterday, we went to the Big Beaver Mall again. We have our date together every Sunday. That’s already our routine. The funny thing was that he lets me drive going there. I was freaking nervous since that was my first time to drive going to that mall. And, it’s far and traffic. Gosh! I almost had a heart attack. Luckily, I made it. I feel relief the time we arrived in the parking spot. LOL! Funny! I thought I couldn’t drive in a far place. But, I did it anyway. Thanks God! Though, I need a calm husband. LOL! We always argue every time he is beside me. Sigh! At least, he was very generous the time we enter the mall. He bought me a very nice long black trench coat. I love it. Maybe, he feels guilty that we argued in my driving lesson. Hehehe! Well, I understand him. He just wants me to follow what he says whenever I drive to prevent accident. I admit sometimes I’m very hard headed. But, I’ve learned my lesson. Wink* Hopefully, I get more confident in a couple of days so I could take my road test already. Sigh! I’ll just hope and pray.
